Phu Quoc International Airport is located in Duong To Commune, Phu Quoc District, Kien Giang Province. ACV has constructed a new international airport to be able to serve the swelling number of passengers traveling to these islands every year. Its passenger terminal has two separate levels for arriving and departing passengers and is equipped with all the technical systems and modern facilities needed to serve over 3 million passengers per year. This is the airport which has the highest volume of flights and passengers in the Southern part of Vietnam, just below that of Tan Son Nhat International Airport. The international airlines operation at Phu Quoc Airport will enjoy special policies such as preferential policies on traffic, prices and charges; and the same policies on Customs and Immigration clearance that is now currently applied at Tan Son Nhat International Airport. The corporation will also have special supportive policies exclusive for the airlines which open international flight routes to/from Phu Quoc from the beginning, 15-day visa free policy or other similar programs.
